Welcome to Palladino Farms, LLC. We are a third generation family owned farm located on Sweet Rd. in historic Pompey New York.
We are a diverse producer of both conventional and organic crops as well as maintain a small herd of "free range" Hereford beef cattle.
Palladino Farms, LLC focuses on serving our local fellow farmers and community with their agricultural needs including conventional corn, hay, soy, wheat, oats and straw as well as organic corn, soy and hay to our local organic dairy farms. We also serve our local horse breeder and hobby market with top quality first and second cutting hay ideal for their animals needs. Our small grains are typically sold to and used by local mills for food grade use.
Our farm has had a rich history dating back to 1845, with original family purchase by our Grandfather Nunzio in 1951. Following Nunzio's passing in 1987 the farm was tirelessly operated and managed by our father Nicholas Sr. and uncle Anthony Palladino. In January 2010, Dan Palladino took over the operational ownership of the farm along with Marie Palladino and with the daily operational management of Nicholas Jr. This marks the 3rd generation of farm operational ownership in the Palladino Family and it is with great excitement that we continue our history.
Palladino Farms, LLC leases two other neighboring farms that have a historical significance in the Town of Pompey, the Way Farm and Clapp Farm. In total we manage over 550 acres of crop production on these three farms.
As our family looks to the future we see our involvement in organic crop production continuing to grow as well as our efforts to nurture free range, hormone and antibiotic free beef cattle. We will also continue to meet the needs of local fellow farmers and animal enthusiasts through our conventional crop production. We intend to embrace the successful history of our farm while making necessary adjustments to continue to meet the needs of our local marketplace and care for the long term health of our land.
